I’ve used a similar massive crows foot in the past with success. Can’t remember about the tensioner, but I guess that’s the way.

Do you have the Dempsey book? Invaluable for this stuff

Buzzzzz. Restore the stone chip. I have it on my 1970 S. Up to what height? Hard to say now the trim's off, new sill on and only the rear wing to go by, but I think mine were masked above trim height and stone chipped below. Looks a fab project, and having been ‘personalised’ quite so much over the years there is zero inclination to make it anything other than your own spec. Enjoy the freedom!

Been looking and if it’s definitely possible to run 195/65s I may option for Pirelli cinturato all season SF2 r15 95v XL tyres. £82 each. Anyone tried them?
