Case bores are identical for all versions (1.7 - 2.0). 1.7 Heads have a 100mm bore for the cylinders. 1.8-2.0 heads have a 105mm bore for the larger cylinders. So the 1.7 heads will need machined for the 96mm pistons. Cheers been reading up about these engines, got more research to do & then pu...
