Re: Under cover Resto
There is a lot of time involved in preparing all these assembly hints and all the photo's. You don't always get full information from books or manuals. Well done on your effort you really are trying your best to get the result you want.
Thanks for doing that !!

Re: engine rebuild
My goodness what a lot of work involved to do this work when you have changed so much. I think you have been really busy but what experience you must have gained doing all this engine work. None of that is easy, you have had to think all the time about everything ! Make a mistake and its more than c...

Thanks Jeremy for re-living my day at that Goodwood meeting with those really super photos that you show above. That indeed was a lovely day and one to remember.
Also pleased about your comments on Graham and Roger. They did a super job on your car.

Re: The Life Cycle of a 356A
Yes Jeremy remember meeting you and your car at a Goodwood meet up along with a small number of others in 356's. We lined up side by side on the track. A nice day and your car looked super. Strange, I bet Graham Kidd was involved with your car at Roger Brays. I knew Graham's dad way back in the 50's...

Re: Under cover Resto
Well done that was a good progress report and great photos to back it up. So true its expensive to order a small individual item like an 'O' ring ! I now find I add some other service parts to somehow offset the amount.
Good conclusion on sorting that problem out so well.

Sent the £10- but it went straight to you Thomas. ( I put postmaster etc but it wanted a name. Your name was in the box just below and when I put that in box it then went off to you fine.
Hope thats okay.

Re: New member
Your Speedster rep looks great. The Speedster shape is hard to beat in steel or any other material. Well done completing that it must be fun to drive as a real one on current roads would be worrying at times taking into account the current values!

Re: Little trip in a Spitfire - no porsche content!
Well done on doing that and a good write up and photos. I live in Aldwick near Bognor Regis and the Spitfires fly over my garden very often. You know as soon as you hear the Merlin they will pass over. I live a few minuites from the sea so often have as good view of them twisting and turning over th...

Re: Dazed and confused
I joined the club in 1969 and enjoyed getting the Porsche Posts for I guess around 10 years. Still have those posts in the garage! Used to go to a few meetings and I remember Betty Haig and her picnics at her large house in Faringdon. These were days of Bill Goodman, John Lucas, Eric Studer Edgar Va...

Drew that was good of Mike to tell you that about the paint. It crosed my mind if it were black from the factory it would have been so difficult to have
removed every spec of black from every part of the car. I put a reply on ABCGT to your thread about your car.

Re: engine rebuild
Wow what a difference to the original ! That's a lot of time and work to perfect all that on your car as well the cost of course. There can be no comparison at all to driving a car like mine. Well done on doing all that work!
