Original 2.7 RS Injection Pump (019)
I have an original 019 RS Injection pump (1973 casting) which is surplus to requirements due to a project change. It was PMO when removed from my race engine but will need to be calibrated\checked for road use as it is set a little on the rich side :~) I want to give DDK first dibs before I put it o...

Backfires
Mfi cars run generally rich particularly when set up for racing, On the overun- after after a straight my car (3ltr mfi) will shoot 1 to 2ft flames out the back of the exhaust (its got no cut off switch) however it never backfires unless 1: the mixture is too lean or 2 the plug leads are mixed or th...

Colour choice
Many thanks Barry , the car i am referring to is the original IROC 3ltr that i think is still used on the recent Mags as a backdrop . It is currently listed with Specalist cars of Malton as "If you have to ask , you cant afford it" .It is howeve an original car. It may well be a special co...

Colour choices
Gentlemen I am currently engaged on a 2.8RsR project. The basis is a 3ltr 82 LHD SC backdate which has been the subject of a number of recent Magazine articles. I challenge you guys to tell me which…lol. Anyway the bodywork is mostly complete in metal, and I am now turning to colour choices. I was w...

Genuine 19 Pump
Guys while you figure out what you really mean, i do have a genuine 19 dated 73, I was probably going to put it on E-bay but if a better home is on off here then its ok with me. However i would expect more than £900.
Best regards Mike

Request for RS Diesels address or contact details
Gents, I have an original RS 2.7 (019) MFI pump that has a RS Diesels calibration tag. I understand that they are no longer trading ? Is this correct because the numbers on the tag would not work and I have tried the web with no success. Does any one have contact details or know where any of the pri...

It well worth a look. The fact that the paint job was well done saved them a mint. They had SSIs on there (worth £1000) and never noticed. The bit about steeel wheels on what looks like a 76 was good and its the first time i heard that white froth in the oil is a head gasket !!!!!(not)also i thought ...

3ltr mfi
Have you considered a 3ltr mfi ?, its very do-able on a SC base but you need new pistons & cams .have the heads done and you are nearly there !!. Probable cost inc engine if you do yourself is about 10 to 12k depending on what you reuse from the donor.Much better bang per buck than a major rebui...
