Blasting doesn't seem to be a good option. Ultrasonic may be the way to go.

Do you mean detailing the case (exterior) or is it split and you need to clean the internals? Either way if it's '73S the case will be magnesium so treatments are limited.

thanks for the kind comments, all. the day was class as was our honeymoon in the seychelles :P gilbert. good luck with the planning. it's totally worth it :wink: tip for the flowers on the bonet: glue magnets into some gause then place over some thin foam to protect your paintwork...job's a good 'un.
