Re: DME conundrum
Hi hope this helps a bit. The injectors get a permanent 12v on one side but the DME (Motronic) box pulses the other side of the injector low (i.e. ground) when cranking or running. This ground pulse comes from pins 14 and 15 on the DME box. This can be seen as brief flashes if using an LED test prob...

Re: Utrecht
Berny Although not in Utrecht itself, not far away is the Louwman Museum in the outskirts of The Hague. Until 4 Sep there is an exhibition of the Rijkspolitie Porsches covers 356s up to 964. We popped in on the way back to Rotterdam ferry port a few weeks back. Rest of the museum very good plus nice...

My Light Ivory 70E was in Booths car park when you were doing your laps.
Yours sounded good! PM if you passing through again as I am only 10min away from Windermerer centre.

Re: Congratulations to Vicki & Shane!!!
Congratulations to you both looks like you had a great day. It is a small world and I am sure I have met Shane before! First a looooong time ago when he was at sixth form in Kendal (1980/81 ish ?) when my girlfriend at the time was also there, but more recently I think we bumped into him at a KKS pa...

Re: OT - visit to the Lakes
Just a couple more suggestions: Take a steamer on Ullswater - Park at Pooley Bridge and boat down to Glenridding - can walk back on the East side of the Lake - at least part way to Howtown - depends how the 7 year old is at walking! In Keswick (worth a look in its own right but will be v. busy) ther...

Re: Touring holiday in NORWAY - advice please.
Richard, I have been to Norway with various Land Rovers over the years. Last went in 2007 and I think the Newcastle – Bergen/Stavanger ferry stopped around then or 2008. Was really convenient from the North of England. Would agree to head to Western Norway’s fjords. Places I could recommend: Geirang...
