3.2 Carrera Engine Box, DME and Wiring loom
I am looking for a complete transplant engine, gearbox with side mounted oil cooler, DME unit and associated loom to return a 3.2 Carrera engine to a car. Would consider a 3.2 on PMO's or other non-standard injection system. I am not looking for a disassembled re-build project unless it is (a) cheap...

Re: Refurbish 3.3 Turbo Callipers
Many thanks. I have had several quotes between 900 and 1800. The later seems to know the calipers very well. They are later than expected 3.3 Turbo so on reflection we have decided to go with the 917 callipers all round. The callipers with new disks and pads are for sale. Offers invited circa 2K. Ma...

Re: Door Lock Mechanisms Left and Right 1969-1973
I am aware that these are available but at those prices? I expect to pay around £100 each side. They are available in the USA at the lower prices but was hoping to get them sorted this weekend. So many have been removed, race, cars, lightweight panels etc. Some one should a pair they don't want. Tha...

Refurbish 3.0 Turbo Calipers
Something of a rarity now I have a set of early Turbo calipers that I would like to get refurbished. Would anyone know someone that can handle this specialised task. Main problem would appear to be removal of stubborn retaining screws. I can probably deal with that myself and stripping them back to ...

Re: Help Finding a 911E
I didn't take offense. I crossed over to the dark side after 12 years running the PCGB Early 911 Register and became a trader. I never used information I had acquired due to my privileged position and I told the Club if one complaint was received I would retire and one and only one complaint was so ...

Re: Help Finding a 911E
Four years is quite a while ago and new members may have joined so there is always a chance. I am always pleased to help anyone with an interest in locating cars and have successfully connected many owners with cars and engines for cars they have owned having accumulated records since 1984. The info...

Re: RECARO SPORTS SEATS
Dirk has a really nice pair of Recaros, double lockers with houndstooth centres and original leatherette. I am going to retrim the pair I want so these are regretably too good for my purpose. So still looking for a pair of seats to repair and re-trim. Send photos to ddk@directcs.co.uk Many thanks Mark

Re: RECARO SPORTS SEATS
Apologies it appears all .eu domains with UK registrants are suspended until 1st march 2021. Fortunately I have a European address I can use and have changed the registrant address. I was not notified of this before it happened. Expect more of this type of thing post Brexit. In the meantime (there m...

Re: Parts for FIA 1972 2.4S Race Car
Apart from the East African Safari Rally Porsche i don't believe entered the RS as a Group 3 car and probably even this event it was entered as a Group 4 car. Maybe someone can confirm this. The FIA started the WRC in 1973 so the EAS Rally was an FIA sanctioned event. The European Rally Championship...

Re: Parts for FIA 1972 2.4S Race Car
I have no intention of competing at the moment but someone might that does. Under their current regulations it would be interesting to see how they could refuse.
