No idea, maybe an admin error?john ruston wrote:So why is Toms car shown as entered by Jeff?
In 2012 we lapped at 5.52, we've changed a few things which should hopefully show an improvement for this year.john ruston wrote:Lap about 6 10?

Re: 356 at Le Mans Classic
There is no Jim Clark car so far . Lots of 356's in Grids 2 and 3. Some rubbish and some really good cars. Trust me John, it's there and I'm there with it. The Jeff Moyes entry is actually the Tom Pead entry as Jeff is sharing the drive. I'm not sure why it isn't showing that on the entry list. If ...

Have been looking at times in previous races and with changes in circuit find that 5 50 will be a good time.

Re: 2 laps of goodwood in J Clarkes 356a
We've had a great weekend supporting Tom and the JC car. What a fantastic event and a huge thanks to Tom for including us. I fitted my GoPro camera and filmed 18 minutes of qualifying where he managed a 1.44,928 which put us 9th on the grid, we were all made up. It had been extremely close between 4...

Fred Hampton once said to me " When the tide comes in, all the boats float" and it's certainly true in our market right now. There has to be a financial interest in doing something like this, it wouldn't get done just for the love of it.

I've got to agree with Keith on this one. This car was lost years ago, it can never be that same 911S.
It's a seriously grey area, at best it'll be a 911S engined 912, at worst a ringer. Not something I'd want to be getting involved in.

My God, I'm pretty enthusiastic sometimes when I get myself into things, but I've never seen anything like it! Looks like the ARB is holding the front end together. It only ran for 12 years (came off the road in 78) I can't believe it's in such a bad way. It must have been stored badly for a long ti...

I've got some of the original press photos of this car when it was new and realised it was still around in a sorry state about 6/7 years ago. I even wrote to the dvla to try and get in touch with the owner, but got short shift from them. I hope the car is restored the way it deserves. It does look p...

So it went under the hammer today, Sold for £30,475 inc. premium, I reckon it's a pretty good price. I thought it would go for more looking at the current trend. Lots of headroom for a decent restoration.
Anyone on here buy it?

Re: Rare 1965 911s as racers. Discuss
I've found it quite helpful with everyone racing 65's, I've managed to stock pile some nice spares as the others have been stripped out. When I decided to buy my car I also looked at the white RHD car Tuthills had at the time. I passed on that one preferring my Slate Grey one, turns out the white on...

Re: Goodwood FoS Porsche special (pistonheads write up)
66 Model Year car then I suppose Ian? rather a series of changes applied to the model from its release in September 64. Ian. Isn't that the story of the 911 in one sentence? There's actually quite a lot of difference between the 65 and 66 model year cars. Bare in mind that even the cars from 64 are...
