Re: Standard 911 2.7 Crank

I should have one of these (are they not identical to 2.4 cranks btw?). It is however in Sweden so if I were you I'd hope for one local. Let me know if you get stuck and I'll help out.

Mike, As a 1968 afficianado I would LOVE a picture of that interior. Red with houndstooth? Yummy.

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....

Did i just miss out on something? The auction for this just ended, and my (what I thought over the top) bid was not sufficient.

Re: Early911 sweden - midnight run 2016

another few snaps. It's really a super nice set-up. Meet for free coffee and talk cars for a bit, and then wrap up at ten o'clock and slip away o so quietly (its a residential neighborhood, and we want to be welcome back again) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v16/tommyrecaro/ilcafe001_zpsi2pbwafs....

Re: Who does the best Recaro bucket seat replicas?

Without doubt the best replicas are made by Michael Eberhardt at Vintage Seats ... Excellent! Thanks! That was what I thought too from years of Google researching :) it's a done deal then! Oooh, can't wait to order my new seats. :bounce: It's for a 1968, where the buckets that year available withou...

Who does the best Recaro bucket seat replicas?

I've owned/own a few recaro buckets, but i've never had a nice matching pair so in my attempt to sort out the interior I'm looking to get a set of replica buckets (most likely the earliest version, 1968 style) made in smooth vinyl and B/W houndstooth. Much like these: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/...

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......

The one closest to the camera isn't a notchback though, right? Looks like a normal coupe. I think Karmann did build some normal coupes as well, aside from the Notchback, a.k.a 'Karmann Coupe'.

Bump for pictures and date stamp info on the early box.
Late box provisionally sold (to Raikku. I'm going to the garage tomorrow to sort out shipment. Thanks!)

Surplus air boxes and carb bases (SWB, 69-71, and 72/73 MFI

I have a few air boxes etc. that I won't be needing. Thought I'd give you guys first chance. 1.) early ( Edit: date stamped 2/67 ) Weber three-clip air box with matching snorkel. Correct style for all Weber equipped 66-68 911. Nice and straight. The snorkel has the usual dime- sized ding on the unde...
