Windscreen Scuttle Repair Sections Left and Right

I have brand new still in packaging 911 windscreen scuttle repair panels (left and right) purchased for a project, but not needed. Looking for £160 including postage (in UK), they seem to be about £180 minimum with suppliers. Hopefully of interest to someone. Pictures attached. Ian IMG_8044.jpeg IMG...

Re: Lightweight flywheel and Sachs power clutch - too much?

I also have lightweight flywheel and Sachs alloy clutch albeit with paddle plate now. It has worked very well and does give improved performance due to spinning up more easily. Mine is 1979 SC with SSI's and now fitted with high compression pistons and PMO carbs. I don't think it compromises normal ...

Re: Wevo for 915 box: good idea?

I have used several different systems including factory short shirt and Wevo is the best if you want a positive shift and intend to track day or race. Moved over to Wevo when my son started to use in competition with me 3 years ago and we have not missed a shift since. You need to buy PSJ coupling t...

Re: How To Remove A Rev Limiting Rotor On An 83 SC

I recently bought another SC distributor and the rotor arm was stuck. It took a great deal of effort to get the rotor off as it had not been removed for some time, and in the end I had to prise it off using a screwdriver under the arm. You will see some of the rotor break off, but persevere. Mine ha...

Re: Hope I don't regret this!

I am sure you will not regret it, they are a really nice car. My first year of Cayman S ownership has been good, it is nice to have something a bit more civilised to drive than an old 911.

Re: PMO conversion?

I am sure you remember correctly Graham, but speak to Richard Parr.
I was sceptical, but it also will allow further development in the future without compromising the existing set up.

Re: PMO conversion?

Hi Dave,

Hope you are okay?

I have just upgraded my car to 46 PMO's with JE pistons and new cams, it makes 250 BHP. It takes some time to get it exactly right, but goes well.

If you want more information then I think you have my email somewhere.

All the best

Re: sticky tyres

The Kumho V70a is a fantastic tyre for Hillclimbs and I am sure you will not be disappointed with the performance.
I probably have some slightly warn 205/50 softs in the shed if you want to try them before you buy a set, they are a couple of years old I believe.
