Re: Chat Up

I'am from the U.S., and don't know what Ryanair even is, but its still funny  Ryanair is the type of airline that when they say that you have to check in before 2, and you come there at 20 seconds after 2 - you won't get on that plane 'cause the gate is unmanned... The chance of Ryanair will g...

Even if you go for a set of big bore, you don't have to go for big hp's. Stay with your super heads and your Zenith's and you'll be fine.

The added torque of a 1700 really does wonders with an A...
I had an 1700 Porsche industrial engine for a while, and it was so nice to have that low rev punch.

Looks like it's been built on a VW pan. The pedals and handbrake are of VW origin.
The only Porsche item I could spot in the pictures was the hubcaps and maybe the wheels.

Why not put a 911 engine in your 914?

I would not even consider a 912, you already have one four, you don't need another...

Some speculate that the holes were already punched in the fenders from '55 production. They needed to fill the holes with something. :dontknow: The front and rear fenders were a carryover to the "A" model. The curved windshield and dashboard were the big cosmetic changes. Most of the body...

hmmm.. still not sure . I have a full set of 16" wheels ,so I would only need tyres . just worried that I might pay the premium for the tyres then find I hate the way it drives. I agree that 16's look better but I do use my car and in all conditions so its got to be able to cope with modern dr...

What worries me is most old Ferraris seem to be very low mileage, I cant remember the last time I saw one for sale with more than 50k!! Similar 25-35 year old 911s are usually well over 100k. Bottom line is Ferrari owners just dont drive them  Waste of time having one IMHO! This is exactly wh...

I would not like to roll over in any car...

But with a proper rollbar you just might survive AND the car migth be repairable.
It's a huge differance in damage to a rolled over car that has a rollbar.

What is the purpose of a rollbar that is not secured enough?
In the case of a rollover you will have the weight of driver/passanger AND most of the car in two tiny plates designed for a person and a seat...
