Is £20 really the going rate for a secondhand album ?

I've got ~750 including what must be some rare editions ...

Re: Amplifier Experts?

Bought a used Mighty Diamonds album at the weekend, saw a record fair in Winchester when we were visiting the moon there in the cathedral. The standard pricing of used vinyl was £20 from all the vendors there. It's a bit scrunchy but ok enough to listen to. Certainly a lottery as you can't really te...

Re: Amplifier Experts?

Unfortunately, the albums which appear to be damaged are the ones I got from charity shops :( Sent from my 22011119UY using Tapatalk I guess that's not surprising. I have bought some used LPs from the internet (discogs etc) and they are very variable. I've had to get money back on several occasions...

. - but there 's nothing to beat the look/feel of the album cover whilst listening to the (imperfect) original album ... . Indeed and I still have all my vinyl and a trusty LP12 to play it on. I still buy the occasional record as well although don't like the fact that it's trendy and very expensive.

Re: Amplifier Experts?

I managed to rip all my CDs successfully with a few years ago. But even that had now been superceded by a steaming service now. Basically all the music on the world (almost) to listen to any place in the world.

Re: Amplifier Experts?

Doesn't sound right, certainly. Can you try the album on someone else's deck to compare?

I think you need to build the motor with negative mass pistons and rods to get it to rev to 12k!

Re: Caliper condition opinions

Thanks for the commentary on the grease. When my dad taught me how to do calipers he used brake fluid as the lubricant, letting the be seal sit in brake fluid before assembly. That's what I've always done.

Just curious as to what grease you are thinking of and where you put it?
