Re: 68 911s Collecting cars

A friend asked me to look at the auction , he was attracted by the Historika resto , and its an S and supposedly matching numbers but no CoA seen. I found it hard to read the documentation on the site and thought the pictures were not very professional or detailed. Armed with only that to go on , I ...

Re: Restoration Design Speedster - Detailed pics now added

I went to the LA Lit meet , like Angus and a few others , and was fortunate enough to have a good look at the Restoration Design Speedster shell . Well you have to be in the mindset of what an original Speedster now costs , and if you can bear that then I think you might be seriously interested . Bu...

As its going direct onto painted metal , assume I want something that wont be strong enough to pull the paint off ?

More aggressive brake pads ?

I have 2 old Porsches , both are fitted with disc brakes , both could do with stopping quicker . First up is a 1955 356 Outlaw fitted with 912 engine and 356C brakes wheels transmission . Goes well but have to leave a fair bit of braking distance , especially in motorway (70mph) traffic - usual prob...
