There may be a third option... just to make your decision even harder. My 912 has a coloured "original" (dealer option) webasto roof that almost matches the paintwork. I haven't been in contact with these people yet but they may be able to help you. www.tudorwebasto.com Good luck, I'm sure...

It's the only area of expertise i can claim. It's only a small area, not very impressive and bores the s**t out of people at parties but it is mine. :) I could probably help if anyone is ever looking for any of the million and one little springs that are present on these cars. I work for a bespoke s...

Would this day be suitable for a complete novice or am I likely to find it all sailing by waaay over my head? :?

If it's likely to be a useful day for a newbie I would love to go. Is there a limit on numbers?

Hi, I am the proud new guardian of the afore mentioned '65 912 that used to live in Yorkshire but now resides in the more balmy climate of East Anglia! I have just picked up this thread as I've been on holiday for two weeks. With regard to the Webasto roof - I am a big fan of having a sunroof and I ...

Greetings Highlander. (to be read in a Sean Connery accent). I'm all for thread hijacking if it leads to a meet up! I'm away for the next couple of weeks up in Bootsy territory - Wroxham, to be precise but not going up in the '12 though. If you (and anyone else local) are up for a meet after that I'...

Hi East Coast Dave (I don't know you well enough to call you East) :) Thanks for the welcome. I'm in the picturesque rural idyll of Saffron Walden - voted the most desirable place to live in the entire country a couple of years ago...presumably voted for by people who don't live here! Yes, I'm still...

Cool, it will be good to see you there. Does anyone have any preference on which day we should all go? Saturday or Sunday? I'm not really trying to organise when people should go but as a newbie I am just really keen to meet as many club members as possible. It would just be great to all meet up the...

Hi Timo,

I'm not much of a camper (no tent!) so I'll probably only go for one day, either saturday or sunday. In your experience will one day be more worthwile than the other?

I,ll pm you my mobile number so I can find you for a chat on the day.
