A friend of mine used to play voleyball, at a tournament he was drawn against one team called "Mmm not bad" and another called "'kin 'ard cones".

If you're not going all professional and shite maybe a comedy name along those lines :?:

Hi again, Back from MP & P now. Ayone want to guess the diagnosis?... After dropping the engine it became apparent that the crankshaft has snapped! Andy very kindly trailered the car minus the engine back to my garage (I'm reasonably local to their workshop). This gets my car out from th...

Hi all, Peter (Saxon) and I drove down together from Essex, which I assume means that he gets the prize for having travelled the furthest distance to be at the BBQ. The M25 was a nightmare of roadworks and heavy rain but, as peter pointed out when we arrived, both cars performed faultlessly. I jokin...

Welcome! Absolutely you should purchase an early Porsche. Choose wisely and it will indeed become a good investment for your child's future (if they actually ever let you sell it to anyone except them of course). It would almost certainly give a better return than keeping the money in a bank at the ...

Well done Vicki. Congratulations! 8) I know what you mean about the embarrasment factor. Last weekend I was out for a nice spin around the countryside and I got caught up in the Biggleswade carnival. I was most embarrased as people were taking photos of the car even though I was just trying to make ...

Hi Helen, I'm really sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction with the quality of service you received from Tuthills (even if the results are beautiful). It has been my experience (extremely limited though it is) that the same has happened every time I have had any work done on my car. There always see...

Hi Helen / Larry, Sorry to hear about your troubles but you didn't really miss anything. The cars were rubbish and the people were very unfriendly. Seriously, it was a good day and you were definately missed. I spoke to several people who asked after you both. If it makes you feel any better ...

Quick Update. I had the world's most talkative RAC man come to see my car. He owns a cobra replica and two 2CVs and I think i got the whole of his life story. His inspection took about 10 minutes and we were then chatting for about an hour and a half! Anyway, the car has a really good spark and, as ...

Thanks for all the advice...breakdown cover, I hadn't even thought of that!

I only drove the car on saturday so I'm sure it can't be anything too dramatic.

I have checked the distributer, leads, connections etc and all looks fine so I guess I'll give Mr. RAC a call.

Hi All, I've just been up to my garage to check on my 912, which failed to start by the way. It turns over fine but just doesn't want to fire up...Any ideas, anyone? I'm not very knowledgable so no long words, please. :) Anyway, I noticed that the mileage is 99972 so my next trip out will take me ov...
