I have only used 2 pack as I did'nt want the arches etc. all lumpy with underseal stuff and I usually, no always wash under wheel arches. I have had some problems with my other ...

Not another 356 restoration

Ever feel like you are taking two steps forward but find that you really are three steps back, this restoration deal is a struggle. I got the front panels on and all pugged and smoothed then I decided I did'nt like the two horn grill openings, they just looked like two gaping big holes so I welded t...

Tell me what's wrong

Hi all thanks for your replies, Re the 993 I reckon as it's the last air cooled specimen it warrants a higher overall value than the 996, but for an everyday driver I think the Other Half lists instant heat/defrost, heated seat and ESP as pretty important. A turbo is a non starter cos she is a real ...

Tell me what's wrong

After buying two new Audi's for the ole lady, an S3 previous model and a V6 quatro latest model and losing wheelbarrow loads of moolah on the resale, I have convinced her to get a second hand 911. I think we can go to the 996 model and possibly a Carrera S, but I have no experience of these newish t...

Hit man

Two old friends were just about to tee off at the first hole of their local golf course when a guy carrying a golf bag called out to them, "Do you mind if I join you? My partner did'nt turn up." "Sure," they said "you're welcome." So they started playing and enjoyed the...

Nippon Denso starter

Greetings all, anybody know where I can get one of those little nippon denso starter motors for my 12v '59A motor. I have one on my small block Ford V8 and it really cranks it over good. I believe they're geared up (or down?) which multiplies the available torque. I'm slowly getting all my 12v elect...

Here's some new stuff, I seem to have been rubbing down pug for so long on the front end, its pretty good now where the new wing and front end all meet up. I braced the front with a hidden strut running fron the battery tray to the lower lip on the front end because it had some movement in it. So ye...
