Hi Kev, Thanks for the advise. I have ordered up a few parts along with a temperature sensor. I cannot see anywhere on the throttle body for the retard pipe to connect too.... It's not 'T' pieced off the other is it???? Also, do you know the I.D of the rubber fuel pipe that crosses over the engine j...

Thanks for the heads up Kev & Angus. On spooking around it seems lots of the various breather pipes have been replaced (I guess by you) obviously chasing the same problem. Only problem found so far is the thermostat cable has snapped, so not opening the ducts. I've gone with the start at the beg...

Thanks for the replies. Running on standard fuel injection. I was thinking maybe vac advance on partial load. I guess it's a case of take it apart and have a lookie loo. Wish me luck :confused2:

Right, collected car, runs like a pig. Low revs pulling off splutters, stalls until you Rev the nuts off it and slip the clutch. Once your flying along it pulls like a train. It's undrivable as is. I thought maybe vac advance, although I'm unsure if it has this..... Any ideas, oh wise ones? Car is 1...
