Re: Terrot MT1 Motorcycle restoration project

The bike was delivered to me last week having won it on Ebay at the end of December. I've had fun with the NOVA application. At one point it asks what type of vehicle it is? So "motorcycle" says I. Then it asked if it is right hand or left hand drive! As its French I put left hand drive. I...

Re: Terrot MT1 Motorcycle restoration project

Interestingly enough I have also just bought a Terrot - a 1956 125 cc EMS 4 stroke. It is basically sound but has a fair amount of surface rust. It looks as though it was the subject of a stalled restoration as the bike has been loosely assembled and some parts are in the accompanying bag of bits! T...

Hello all Yes - still here lurking from time to time. As Steve has explained - been a bit busy with the new house and now in the process of giving the JZR a makeover - sadly without the turbo now as I've devoured three in the last 6 months and they're just not available either complete or spares for...

I followed a driving school car that had the web site URL :

www.upassdrivingschool.co.uk

I think the strategic use of a hyphen would have helped to clarify that they really meant "U pass driving school"

One question - why the large hole in the floor of the front boot?
My 914 had exactly the same hole in the front boot - for the air conditioning.

It seems to depend where you look as to whether oil is more expensive than LPG or vice versa. Try this link for general information : http://www.homeheatingguide.co.uk/central-heating-cost.html ..and this one for some definitive costs from the coal industry : http://www.coals2u.co.uk/fuel-price-comp...

No, I don't know what this is either...
Its an extremely quick hill climb car - I think with a supercharged or turbo charged 1000 cc engine. Ian McMath will know its name.

Try a Google search of the name Collins Duminda - it shows some trade directories with the same name. Looks a bit odd to me.

Fred went apoplectic when I turned up in my RSK replica to a Docklands PCGB display, but only after I had left, and then directed his displeasure at the RO who organised the event! I was informed by official PCGB letter that I couldn't go to any PCGB events in the RSK. I was told that I could park i...

I had a GP Spyder with a 150 BHP 2.1 litre engine. No matter what I did to the brakes I couldn't stop the fronts locking up - even with a brake compensator. Standing quarter miles were very quick, but corners were another matter!

A different design or the same one as last time, bearing in mind the trouble we had with the curling tongs!
