See what happens when you don't pay your taxes

Hi
Our local auction house is selling a collection of six classic Porsches belonging to a guy who didn't pay his taxes. The expected sale price is €7 million.

Re: Boxster goes to France

Hi Jeremyg

If you you go to website Prix-carburant.gouv.org it will give you a list of stations that have fuel by department and commune, it also has a feature that show stations en route if you put in your itinerary. Most of the problems ar north and north east. Best of luck.

Re: Low Emission Zones -France

Hi

Also remember we now have mobile speed cameras in cars that just drive about randomly looking forward and back. The drivers are contracted and have no input other than driving a set route at set speeds.

Re: Low Emission Zones -France

Hi
Breathalysers requirement was dropped years ago. Most sat navs for France now indicate danger zones for speed cameras, you can usually set length for zone, certainly on my Tom Tom.

Re: Low Emission Zones -France

Hi At the moment there is generally no restriction on vehicules de collection ( a vehicle more than 30 years old). The FFVA and the government are looking at a special CritAir pastilles for these vehicles but as yet no result. I would not worry about it but don't abuse the concession and remember yo...

Hi
If your insurance policy is a collector car insurance and it states that on the policy document then that might be sufficient, I don't know how the registration documents in the UK are worded these days for collectors cars.

Re: Le Mans classic day 30th April-1st May 2022 - Crit air c

Hi
If your car registered in France has a "Carte Grise de Collection" then at present there are no restrictions. All other vehicules must comply. I don't know how this would work with non French registered classics but I suspect there might be some leeway with foreign registered cars.

Re: Le Mans classic day 30th April-1st May 2022 - Crit air c

Hi You don't need one for le Mans but generally they are only needed when the maire determines the air quality necessitates it. Most modern cars are yellow 2 which normally means you are ok. For instance Paris last weekend had restrictions but not for yellow 2. I would apply for one online they are ...
