Hello Ant, I’m sure I have a complete early black handle among my spares, I’ll have a look when I get into the garage tomorrow.

Re: Selling 2.7 engine on Carbs
So.... There is a Bug with a 2.8 in my class I see for next Shelsley! It is no other than Wayne Penrose and the VW looks out of this world! Defo 3rd in class for me... Be good to see you soon Jim. Graham, with the blue LOLA-Porsche. He’s at Harewood this weekend, should be good to watch if we have ...

Re: Selling 2.7 engine on Carbs
Hi Jim, I was trying to PM you, but you need to talk a little more (what a bloody stupid thing to say to you, of all people! We’ll never shut you up now!)
Yes, talk to Bootsy or I and we’ll get you sorted.

If the tyres aren’t just about to let go, then you’re not going fast enough!

I was going to say that, but didn’t want to start throwing insults if it wasn’t you!

Re: Selling 2.7 engine on Carbs
Hi Jim!
I'm guessing it's Jim with the mad red Beetle from Shelsley Walsh etc?
It's going to be much more of a handful with a modified 964 in the back.
We hope to be at Shelsley next month - see you there???
Cheers!

Re: 915 trans HEAVY DUTY clutch supplier needed!
Hi Graham, your best bet would be to replace it all with a Helix triple plate clutch or similar. You would have to replace the flywheel as well, but it’s a good fix, we have only reconditioned ours 3 times in 30 seasons competition (including the present rebuild) and spares and replacements are loca...

It looks as though you'll have to go to VSCC Wiscombe Park on 12th May then Jeremy!
It's a great event in a beautiful setting - sorry I can't make it this year.

Re: Frazer Nash/BMW 319
Wonderful story Jeremy! I’m glad it all fell into place.
You must take it up to the Bo’ness Revival sometime soon. It’s a great event, and the organisers would welcome you with open arms.
