Re: Prescott hill climb on Saturday

I tried to get some dramatic shots but most were just a car on a corner - no dramatics at all Yep, that was me (108) - just plain slow! At least the championship was won by Dave Hilton in a very well driven P3 (205bhp) 1973 911. Great to see the Rhdracer out in his 3 litre 914/6 and Chaos al...

Thanks for the info. I've got a gearbox lined up, but the linkage seems harder to track down.

I'm hoping to improve the gear shift in my 914/6 in the (reasonably) near future. Will the Rennshifter kit supply all the linkage bits needed to convert a tail-shifter to side-shift, or do I need to hunt for a complete side-shift linkage as well?

Foot'n mouth?

Last night, my wife and I were sitting in the living room and I said to her, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

She got up, unplugged the Computer, and threw out my wine.................

If your locks are original, your OPC can get you an original key (not a copy of your old worn one) if you give them the chassis number.

They do all sorts of oil and brake lines for motorsport. Just tell them what you want it for, and what size the end fittings are.

From your description, it's probably nothing to worry about. It's probably damp in the exhaust system (especially in Falmouth! ) evaporating off in the first few seconds.

David, the dates only count for International FIA motorsport. If it's just for National or Club level, then it makes no difference.
My ATL tank had a 5 year FIA certificate, which can be extended by another 2 on inspection.

Hi Bob, Unless there was a problem with the others, just replace the one. When you have it going, and want to while away another hour (or day  ) check all the resistances with a meter, in case they're starting to burn out. Hope it's running for the week-end! :bom: Cheers! :drunken: JW
