Re: Engine bar and bracket wanted
I would double check that they haven't changed - i suspect the mounting bar is unchanged, but the cradle may well have as the engines changed?

Exactly the same thing struck me, is that an actual person or a rogue AI bot that's taken an overly keen interest in our sub-culture. Or maybe just a combination.....which admittedly would be a relief because we have a few more years..........

Re: Classic Autowerks ‘Ultimate Shift Rod Bushing’
Interesting - i guess the different results speak to condition of the gearbox and the accuracy (or otherwise) of the linkage adjustment, or perhaps the need to perform some level of re-adjustment (on small scale) with the new bush installed. In any event my two installs yielded positive results, and...

Re: Classic Autowerks ‘Ultimate Shift Rod Bushing’
Morning all I know this should strictly be another thread (and perhaps it should be moved) - has anybody got any insights into fitting this (which i think should be very easy as i understand re-adjustment of shift components not necessary) and perhaps more importantly any feedback on post-installati...

Hi Matt
I'd really like two please - although for sunny (atm) Cape Town, payment and delivery will be UK based to keep things simple.
Much appreciated!

Gosh Graham
Don't know you, never been to a hillclimb and site thousands of miles away. But on this dull Monday morning in the office a big smile has crept across my face!
Well done, chuffed for you and also thinking what a cool little community DDK has coalesced!

Re: 8000 rpm/300 bhp 3.2 rebuild
Great result Graham, and surely a little more to come. Please will you answer a previous question of yours (and of course a few others, myself included)? When next on the RR what difference does disabling one set of plugs make in outputs, as well as any difference in engine characteristics on the RR...

Re: 8000 rpm/300 bhp 3.2 reuild
Hi Graham It seems Design911 aren't brilliant with customer feedback and dealing with issues such as your "missing/out of stock" main bearings and chains. I've certainly had frustrating experiences. Given the time-critical nature of your build you might want to touch base with "Type91...

Re: Brake Upgrade for 1970 T
Yes, that's them. Aside from ease of install and great performance, they're an amazing weight saving over the steel cporsche calipers (ie non-S aluminium version).
I recommend highly, and there is lots of info on the web about this.
Good luck!

Re: Brake Upgrade for 1970 T
The easiest option (in terms of no changes required) is the mid 80's Alfa GTV front calipers - aluminium Brembo with 48mm pistons and 3 inch spacing.
Just need to find them....and make a new short hard line. Working fantastically (with "racier" pads)...

Re: Underseal Removal
As i understand it, there was sound insulation applied to the inside of the outer door skin? Literally a rectanglaur piece, presumably glued in place?
