holy s**t Jason, they're some nice looking watches!.. a friend was just presented a rolex (I think submariner deep sea? ) by the company he's working for.. he works in pipelines as an inspection engineer in middle east, so spends a lot of time diving and things.. he said its waterproof to about 1200...

one thing to remember for another time, fairy liquid contains loads of salt as a cleaning aid.. if you're fitting rubber seals especially to body work, you're much better off using something like petroleum or KY jelly :wink: the number of cars i've seen that are rusting around the window seals 3 or ...

cheers guys, thanks for the replies.. lots of the re-trimmers around here seem to be favouring bling vectra re-trims over the standard look, so will give these guys a call and see where we go..

my old merc has had some tlc over the last couple of months, and now in comparison the interior looks.. well crap! can anyone recommend someone (pref in the east mids) who can re-trim the seats, replace headliner, and re-trim the door cards?.. if you find out how big (dia and width) i can send you a stainless steel jubilee clip; these aren't as good as the crimp on ones though as they're less balanced, but not sure how much of an issue that would be
