Hi, While getting my engine out for a refresh I've had a disagreement with my gear linkage... A lot of swearing and drilling! Does anyone have a late style linkage (both halves) that I might be able to purchase? Desperate to keep my car on the road while I work out how best to repair the original in...

I had quite a big grin on my face the rest of the way home! See you around again i hope... New job starting next week so i wont be able to use the car too much but thats what weekends are for if the weather stays like this

On the oil front i have been using 15W40 mineral oil (Comma Super Mineral) in my 2.0 since i built it some 2-3000 miles ago and it goes really well.
It seems to be a hot topic with many different views on synthetic vs. mineral and weights on the 914 World site...

It was quite exciting seeing another 914 on the road, especially after spending the previous 3 hrs stuck on the M4 and M25

They are a right bi*ch to fit is all i know. I just got a 4 man regatta tent from Argos for Le Mans last weekend. Kept out the torrential rain on Friday night and we fitted 3x 6' lads on big airbeds easy... bonus at £35 last week!

How did i miss you!! Was me Just on my first outing after the resto, thought driving to Bath then Leamington and back to Battle would be a good run!

It still amazes me these cars turning up here, there and everywhere! Is this going to be a resto (brave) or heading to 914 heaven?

I guess thats the 'track only' rear suspension geometry setup...
