Also interrested in the handbrake, the actual handle up to the y split and rear targa top catches (on the car not the roof).

It's funny who the list gets longer, especially now that i'm working on my 914 every day!

I went 190e... it's been great, 107k when i bought it a few of months ago now on 111k no probs. Like new inside ,super paint work, FMBSH(!) and the wheels i added for fun... all for £1300! This is a proper tank Merc with taxi durability. plenty of 2.3 and 2.6 autos with leather floating around for £...

I loved the Mercedes museum, cant wait to head back to Stuttgart, defiantly going to do it in the 914 when its back together... Nylon Fuel Tubing?

Hello All, Advice needed... I need to replace the fuel lines in my 914 (through the tunnel), was looking at original plastic style or stainless/steel. Can anyone tell help me out in deciding whether or not to use Nylon 11 tubing (BS5409-1 or -2)? Is it ok, or a real no no?.... If the latter is there...

2009 Update!! Well final year exams have come around but i sneakily managed to do so much coursework over the last semester that i have close to finished! One more exam to go but 10days off in the meantime so back home and in the garage... (Thank god that its got central heating) Really is about tim...

Getting somewhere with assembly at last. Going quite slowly as i want to get everything clean and nice before it goes back on... Awiting lots of parts for the suspension to return from the electroplaters but then i can get it back on its wheels! New bearings and brake going on all round too! Thanks ...

Worse case, if the p-side is the same and the battery tray/ longs are toast... chassis is sagging in the middle...

could just be poor hinges and bad alignment... always the problem when you cant see the car in the flesh and have a poke. Anyone brave enough to save this one?
