I know Paul, but am not sure about publicising these prices anymore, PM if you like? Steve: I have indeed talked to Neil about this car, and what a beauty it is. I wasn't sure about the lack of RS stripes at first, but looking again, the shade of red without the stripes looks beautifully understated...

What a great 'sticky' this is, I love reading back through these tests. Thanks RichKaz and MRG! There was also a great Ferrari/Porsche test in Car about 1974? But it was a 308 against the 911. Can't remember if it was an 's' or an IB car? Any chance you could fiind that one RichKaz, you've come up t...

I'm very biased, but good taste says she's got to be Tangerine! 8)

As REH is the 1 st to hit £300 k or thereabts no doubt when he comes across it ll be a bargain ! Cheers Vic, You were rock-solid right about REH and the Tangerine car mate, he got exactly what he wanted....and more, allegedly.... Despite plentiful badgering, he just chuckled and would not m...

HI Steve! :) I have been reading as many threads as possible, though I haven't been able to type as much as I'd wish, mainly because I haven't had the time to reply. I don't know how much I should say here, but basically I'm having to re-write a previously completed and done-and-dusted ready for pre...

Also, moderators, is there perhaps any mileage in lifting usefull information into an RS sticky so one doesn't need to schedule a holiday to read spidermon's biblical thread?  Bert  It's OK Bert, I've already talked to James about this, and it will be boiled down to that very thing...

I would do as Nick Moss said; read my "very long thread." If you do you will see that every person that you need is on the DDK, or a small PM away. All the numbers and names that matter are mentioned on that thread IMHO. I think you need to define what you want an RS for; or at least...

Hi Steve,

No, that wasn't me....I was the one waiting for nobody to buy it so the price would drop, and I could make a cheeky offer, oh well....

Cheers,

Steve. 8)

Paul,

that has to be worth the wait and the delays? It just looks incredible... 8)

When do you aim to be landing on the Wirral?

You just have to take some blog-shots and post a few...?

Cheers,

James, I can make this, and would be glad to come over to Yorkshire if you'll have me; I've had my jabs and visa's stamped, and I hear that you've had most of the cobbles tarmacked now... Steve. :) Steve, just for info, as you cross the border, you may be required to purchase a tourist grade...

Ah well, just the Tourings then... Cheers, Steve. :) if you are a serious buyer you can't possibly discount a lightweight given the opportunity to buy one, on account of an uncomfortable seat! The sensible thing to do is have the proper lightweight seats for originality sake, shows etc, and ...

I haven't driven as far as across Europe in mine, but have done several long-ish journeys in / around the UK. My car doesn't have the usual correct RS seats with the knurled knobs on the side, but a slightly different sport seat which I beleive to be factory fitted, and is pictured in one of the in...
