WANTED : 911 Shell or Complete 911 without engine and box...
Well bit of a long shot, but if you dont ask, then you never know! More than happy to pay a fair price, i'm not looking for a bargain! Following a lifetime of 911 addiction, I have amassed quite alot of spare parts. I figure the best thing for me to do is buy a shell, and bolt everything I have to i...

Re: wiring question
I don't have your answer but 35mm2, would be a copper core (multi stranded) of 6.7mm in diameter, which seems reasonable. I believe the correct answer would be on the wiring diagram...as certainly for the other a/c porsche wiring diagram, those figures are written on them (the diameter of the wire c...

Re: Fair price for complete interior
Believe it or not, complete interiors with standard seats, go for £500-700! No joke. Sport seats different story. As always the best way to figure out the correct market price on something. Is take good pictures, write up a fair advert, NOT IN BLOCK CAPITALS, and then stick it on ebay. Things will a...

Re: Fuel pump electrical feed not via fuse... why not?
i havent consultated a wiring diagram, but I have often noted how many circuits were still unfused especially in the SWB cars. In your case, I dont see any problem with fusing the pump. They are fused in later (i.e IB 911's). Just a case of choosing an appropriate amperage, which will depend on pres...

Re: Gearbox ANY : 901 or 915 : 911/912 : 5 speed preferred
Hi Jonny, Thanks for the offer. Yes maybe, at the moment I am going to see what else is available. A 914 which is basically a 901 box, i presume with a different nose cone for the mounting. It may be something i will look at, for the moment, its mostly a 911 box from 65 to 87 or a 912 box that I am ...

Re: New parts list , thoughts ?
Gen Porsche for the rear screen seal. I haven't used the OEM version, but the previously available URO version was absolute junk
OEM okay for the front, but as general rule i would use gen porsche on ALL glass seals, and oem/aftermarket on most of the rest, thats my general preference
