There are roughly 32M cars on the road in the UK of which say 2.5M are classics The new car market is about 2M cars a year.. I am in the same situation Lockton insure my cars whilst in secure underground garage They are under a block of flats with electric key entry in central London There is cctv too Other classic owners have their cars there too so must be other insurers who will cover I guess the secret is to have a go...

I also had exactly those symptoms An electric primer and an Optima 6v battery later ( red) no more problems at all The primer has a discrete button under the dash (I prime for 20 seconds). The ugly red Optima has a battery cover over it to hide it. I find that it has a far more powerful kick Funnily...

The price is typically quite high as the choice of venues and the associated catering is always pretty high end For me the convoy drive down with mates is all part of the fun , then arriving at a venue with up to 200 356s and the wonderfully curated drives by locals make this an un-missable event. With so few places spaces got filled up really fast and there is a waiting list
Shame really as in previous years there were 150 plus cars.
I think there are probably only 10 or 11 cars travelling from the UK
