In the time I was watching, the bids went up by £10k...

WTB: Momo Monza or Prototipo

I am after a 350/360 or 370mm Prototipo or Monza wheel. Preferably black rather than silver. No need for the boss or horn push (unless you also have the yellow Lauda one). I used to have a Monza and regretted selling it, hence request. Thanks. Julian

Bosch Kill Switch Original Black paint version

This is advertised on Impactbumpers, and I know some of you might be members of both, but perhaps the part is more relevant to members here. I think I bought it from Mark at RS-911 in 2006 when he had a small stock of them. They weren't cheap then as I recall, either. Part number stamped on side of ...

SWB parts clear out, including Fuchs 7Rs

After making the decision to sell my SWB now back at Revival cars, I have a number of parts I have accumulated. I'm making a list, and will be updating that list here with prices over the coming days. It includes: 2 Prototipo steering wheels (vintage, not modern) £120 to £150 each 2 'PORSCHE' side s...

Yup. Pastel works for me. Perhaps I might re-evaluate the champagne gelb... A few months ago I could not believe it when this 911 stopped at my local newsagents. Nice faded red. Restored over a period of years. Never seen it before, or since. Nice guy. http://i416.photobucket.com/albums/pp245/911jul...

OK. Showed the budgetmeister at home the photos above, and asked her opinion (like she gives a 5h*t) and sea foam green it is. I think she was more annoyed that I was watching Le Mans on the Mac in the kitchen at the same time with the screen on pause with the car at the town square (about 2.07 into...

Restoration colours for SWB... go pastel... advice please

OK. Having toppled back from the brink and not sold the SWB, and given the great set of photos of the '68 911T (ex IoW car) in September's edition of GT Porsche, I am glad I did not sell :) - I now have to decide a colour... It's not going back to champagne gelb however. So, I am thinking a pastel g...

My only(!) comment as someone who has advertised two cars, one on IB, and one on here recently, was that both were courteously received in both places, and people did what they said they would do - ask decent questions, come and see the car, very nice when they came over. I only had one problem from...

Agreed. Only (slight) frustration can be if you have not already got all the photos, and then once you have placed an ad, you can't go back and unlock it and add extras things (which happened to me on IB) - such as a sunroof :) or if the car is LHD etc...
But generally, a better approach IMHO.

I have thought about that too. Try http://www.porsche-diesel-classic.de/ and http://www.porsche-diesel.com/links.aspx as a couple of starting points. Did a bit of surfing and found www.porschetractors.com that had this photo of the AP 108: http://www.porschetractors.com/images/30-1.jpg Air cooled Di...
