Re: Musings and idle ponderings...

Gok Wan and the ass slapping  On a serious note, I think we are all agreeing to a certain extent.. we dont really have a place to turn regarding parts and I am in no way implying a dis-service to anybody restoring a car. Those (myself included) are being held at gunpoint by parts makers to acce...

Re: "1972 911 ST Rally Car"

Do yourself a favour and talk to Dave at DSD about it.. bit rough around the edges with some bodge work done by some big names. I looked at it up on a ramp and saw it more as a resto project than a turnkey race car..

Re: 1972 Wiring Harness

hmm.. so whats the catch?

considering I have been quoted 2000£+ for a wiring loom for my 71 coupe, then what am I missing when the two last links sell complete looms for 500€?

no price on Kroon as his is POA (damn, i hate that arrogant phrase..)

Head over to DSD in Billerikay, give him 50£ and take both front and rear steel lids in black that I dont need anymore since I replaced mine with 914/6GT grp ones..

tell him I sent you and he will be happy as it removes the clutter

Dave is the only guy I trust with my porsche stuff (Thats my Jäger 914/6GT parked next to yours 8)
so your car is in good hands.. Dave will be building my engine also, but I wont bother him with that until your car is done!

Re: Gauging interest: Reproduction Engine lids.

Sorry, not meant to offend.. the problem is that this is the regular price for the alu lids, the price is the normal one as the guy who makes these will not and wont drop them any further. I needed one for my ST project, so did ask and went thru two different sources who asked the same guy (unbeknow...
