I cant help but think anyone buying an impact bumper car with the sill covers in place for a price that would indicate good solid kidney bowls, or info from the vendor to that effect, needs to whip the sill covers off as part of the inspection, unless there is good recent history of the kidney bowls...

E types were raced in fairly standard form in those days.... perhaps there is some mileage in figuring out the original registration and searching from there? On a 3.2 you dont need the giant crows foot, I think, it was changed to an M12 bolt with a 19mm head. Valid point about the Z1 mark, could easily be a little out. You have a choice of cam timing, look at the different settings used by Porsche on the various 180/204 Sc's and the 3.2, its all the same...
