Re: Winter storage

Thanks Mike, will have to look into that. Can I ask roughly what size your garage is?

Re: Winter storage

Off at a slight tangent, has anyone had any experience of one of these:- http://www.ruby-dry-dehumidifiers.co.uk/ A friend recommended them and initially I thought no way, but reading the info, perhaps it would do the trick in my garage which is large, dry and insulated, but isn't heated and doesn't...

Re: Winter storage

I'm half tempted to have a go at knocking one together out of some poles, polythene and gorilla tape...

I'll let you know how that goes...given my inability to comprehend measurements (see above) it might be some time coming ;)

Re: Winter storage

Drmark, do you have the 'small' or the 'extra small' one? After looking at the specs on their website, I'm confused by you saying that you have the small one, but that it's a tight fit lengthwise given that the larger ones are the same length as the small one and only vary in width.

Re: Winter storage

From what I can see on Carcoon's website, they're all the same length at 230cm (except for the extra small at 200cm) and its just the width that varies so I guess the small one would do the trick. Not cheap, but looks ideal for winter storage inside the garage - will have to look at one of these mys...

Pedal board tinware - rivet type/size needed

We're fitting some new pedal boards that I've received from Ron Vincent recently and will need to re-plate and swap over some of the tinware from the old boards that is NLA. Does anyone know where I can get the little copper rivetty type things that fix the various bits of tinware to the pedal board...

Re: Advice on suspension bushes - harsh ride/NVH at the mome

I'm really just after a less harsh ride rather than firmer/sportier, it's just the sharp/short high frequency stuff that just doesn't feel like it's being absorbed so much as being smacked into. eg. small bumps, catseyes, ridges, poor tarmac/concrete etc. Hard to explain, but it just feels like ther...

Re: Advice on suspension bushes - harsh ride/NVH at the mome

Hi guys, thanks for the advice here. So am I right in thinking that the standard car had plain rubber bushes that are very compliant, while what I have (and would still have if I used SuperPro bushes) are poly bushes that remove all the compliance I'm actually after? I'm planning on stripping the su...

Advice on suspension bushes - harsh ride/NVH at the moment

Now that I've got a 1000 miles under the wheels since the engine rebuild, I'm looking to get the suspension better sorted and could really do with some advice. Although it seems to handle decently enough, it seems to be very poor at absorbing small high frequency bumps which tend to feel like they'r...
