Sorry but I disagree on all counts ... So do I . For the past 3 years LHD values have been around 25% higher than RHD. The reason for this lies in the £/Euro exchange rate. Demand from Europe, especially Germany, has been very high. Many LHD cars in the UK have gone back there. Look at the prices o...

Guy I'm not sure the literature is correct here! The ducktail is claimed to reduce rear end lift by 70% at 150mph. This would cause problems for front end lift without the rubber front spoiler. I therefore have difficulty believing the factory would have fitted the ducktail alone, given the experien...

Hi Paul
If the car had a ducktail (standard in certain markets) it would have had the front lip spoiler.
Fuchs were 6 and 7s originally, either detailed petals or painted.
My car was first reg May '74 in Belgium, chassis "0600"

The blue car was Freisingers.

Yes black trim was standard, the anodised silver was an option.

Where is this auction evidence of a drop in values of classic 911s?
Market conditions today are very different to 1989/1990.
Values are imo likely to remain strong during this period of very low interest rates.

I was in a similar dilemma 2 years ago when Barry was restoring my car. Original colour was blood orange, then a total colour change to GP white back in 1983. After 10 years' ownership I preferred it in white,a correct period colour anyway. To go back to original would have meant total strip out of ...

Definitely take a spare coil.
Mine packed up ( the 3rd one) in France last month.
Fortunately found a black Bosch one at Franco Lembo's.
Also recommend taking a copy of Flat6 magazine with the phone nos. of
the French specialists.
Have a great time :)
