Steve, have you used one on a 911 - do they work ok? Is there enough clearance past the h/exchangers?

On my SC, I just take the red relay out and take it with me. The car isn't moving without it and I doubt your average car thief would know what's missing.

You could try this... Apparently you can channel wireless over a distance if you put a metal tube over the antenna - Obviously it will only go in one direction, but it goes much further. I haven't tested this and don't know if it works, but it might be worth a shot, if you don't want to buy and exte...

Alloy framed Ducktail

I have an alloy framed ducktail for sale. I, rather embarrassingly modified it to fit my SC, before realising it was alloy and the magnitude of what I'd done :violent1: However, I still have the bits that I cut out and I used a dremel to do it, so they are quite fine. It should be fairly easy to wel...

I think the 'braid' ones are meant to be pretty good. But they are more spendy than the other ones. They must be 'fit for purpose' so if you're just using them on the road, they would probably be fine. I think the issues are, they don't quite look right, they are heavy and they're not suitable for t...

Press on the locator button on the bottom left - as long as that is 'lit up' the map will scroll automatically - however if you move the map manually this switches off again.

I've got a small handheld one bolted to the gear linkage inspection panel. Seems to be a good, handy location to grab in an emergency. Not sure how effective it would be. Even if it just buys you a bit of time and gives you something to do while you wait for the fire brigade!
