Re: Non starter
Thanks all. After various tinkering it has now gone back to my usual mechanical wizards to be fixed - will find out more next week.

Non starter
Hi all - my how I’ve missed DDK! I’ve not been on here for ages, but bloody glad to be back. Quick thicko question: my 356A would not start today. Seeing as this is the first time in 15 years of ownership that it has not started I’m not really complaining, but I would like it running! The bat...

Re: 000 Magazine.....
Sorry - just logged back in! Have to say I am really enjoying the 000 magazine - I've not finished the whole thing yet, but the articles I have read have been really well written and informative, especially the cover article about the top 64. I thoroughly recommend it - it is a bit trumpy of course,...

Re: 000 Magazine.....
I've signed up for the $350 edition. To be honest I wouldn't have done so in the past, but have their timing as right as I'd just got all the money through from selling a car and wanted something frivulous to comfort myself with  Hasn't arrived yet, but fingers crossed it will be with me soon...!

Re: Update on my 356A
Pretty, pretty, pretty. 8) Hello Simon. Oh, did the T stay within DDK (apologies, a bit out-of-touch here)? HI Steve - hope you're well! It sold to a guy in Australia and I"m hoping he has it by now. I think he views on here but has not posted. Nice guy and a real Porsche enthusiast. ...

Re: Update on my 356A
Looks lovely Simon ! What modifications did you have carried out - lowered ? wheel spacers added ? Is there a dedicated thread on your car with other photos (interior, etc) ? I've not got much else on the car, but you've made me think - I'll document bits as and when they happen and post them back ...

Re: Update on my 356A
Thanks all - relieved I haven't upset anyone (yet!) From memory, we went 4.5" all round for the wheels, with a spacer on the rear. The wheels are standard of course, blasted to get the chrome off and then went off for paint. The nuts etc were also treated the same, and while that was goin...

Update on my 356A
I've not posted for a while, but recently I've had some work carried out on my 356A by PR Services - the only people who have ever worked on this car since it came to the UK about 9 yrs ago. I'm the first UK owner, and have only ever used PRS. I sent the car up there for a bit of a general "sor...

Re: PayPal scam for my car
Yep - I have to agree. I've thought really hard about this and can see how it really does go both ways. I've had quite a few emails from a guy in America who has basically offered the full asking price. Says it will be paid by transfer to my account etc, no PayPal - but something doesn't seem right....

Re: For the love of Steering Wheels.....
Here's my favourite. I bought my 356A from KK about 8 years ago and at the time Ritchie had this nice Nardi wheel in stock which he recommended would look good on the car - and I have to agree :) http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc190/sjm18/Nardi356A.jpg http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc190/sj...

Re: PayPal scam for my car
Yep - very true Barry. I feel almost rude writing back to a couple of these ones that look suspicious, but I'd rather risk that and keep the car!
