Things are slowly coming together... first registered on the 25/9/73 in Edinburgh. The history I have to date is the car was purchased (was it from the first owner?) in Swindon in March or April 1985 and then brought to NZ in April 1986 by a Mr Brett Laurent. Hi all I have a UK new '73E that is now located in NZ. I have manged to track down the second owner of the car who emigrated to NZ in the late 80s. The car was registered NWS469M in the UK. Sorry to crash the thread but how do you get the plastic ring out if the glass is still intact? The backing of my mirror has come away and i need to replace it. Any ideas??
