Re: A Trivial Moan
Hopefully Design911 have those items in stock. If not and they are special order from Porsche don't hold your breath. D911 get their genuine parts from an OPC and as that OPC is shut (in part because Porsche AG has stopped parts supply to the UK for the time being) you may be waiting for a while.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
If you want to be harsh how about adding 'motor racing on the public highway' to the list of potentials? Could be a licence lost twice over in one day if they managed to get them all to stick.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Tosh, how much have you thought about posting that pic? You've given the time, date and location of three potential motoring offences on a public forum: speeding, using a hand held device whilst driving and driving without due care and attention.

Re: Your Porsche pic of the day......
Customary reflex reply from the forum bore, there were a few G series and longhood cars there yesterday and Rainer looked great in his 912. You know what they say about opinions.... Not retired myself (but I did convert a car from LHD to RHD in the 80s) yet I managed to spend a great day at Oulton w...

Re: my non-Porsche picture of the day
"Intoxicating aroma" - gotta love that, I walk my dog up there most days and the more usual whiff is the diesel smoke from the Western loco that they often leave idling in the siding for hours on end - get yourself a few lungfulls of those diesel particulates and it could take years off yo...

Re: Anyone got the 911T to go with this service booklet?
What a great tale from Darren. As it happens I knew a Mr Clive Harry Sherwood. He was a patent officer in Birmingham and an avid collector of vintage Rolls Royce motors. He also owned some great Porsches including an early 911, one of the first UK 911 turbos, a 2.7 mfi Carrera targa and a 924 GT. Sa...

RS Speedometer & Tyre Compressor
180 mph speedo. Date stamped 5.73. Minor paint flaking on rim edge in two places and some marking on the inner face of glass edge which suggests that it may have misted up some time in the past (too slight to be able get a pic of it). Still has the coloured locking gum on the case screws so probably...
