Re: 2.4S Bodyshell with V5
Update: I met with Mark last week and bought my shell back from him. It might seem a little strange / mad but had we went legal it would be us that suffered , not them who are in the links of the chain between us. I'm happy , as far as can be expected and I found Mark a gentleman to deal with and f...

Re: 2.4S Bodyshell with V5
  I have just seen the recent posts on the thread , and am shocked to say the least. I bought the a couple of years ago on Ebay , and applied for the V5 as normal , and had it returned in my name - I had no idea of ANY issues with the car. I have PM'ed Dave , so hopefully some solution...

Re: 2.4S Bodyshell with V5
Is this an original RHD? Has the front panel been cut to accommodate a bigger fuel tank? Looks perilously close to the chassis number? Sorry for the delay in replying - we've just moved house at the weekend , on mobile signal , and no internet access as yet   Anyway , you're right , the...

2.4S Bodyshell with V5
I bought this several years ago , and have been in the process of building it into a 2.8RSR rep. It had been used as a tarmac rally car in Ireland for many years , fitted with a 3.6 engine and 964 bodykit. I have now obtained another shell to complete the RSR , as it seems wrong to use an S for this...

Re: Does anyone remember / recognise this old car ?
This may be a shot in the dark, but the tel no prefix 0639 was Neath Port Talbot no. (now 01639). 01639 822771 is the tel no. for a convenience store on Mayberry Rd, and looking on street view there looks to be a lockup directly next door to the store with a roller shutter door on the front - possi...

Does anyone remember / recognise this old car ?
I have just acquired this old race car , and I was wondering if any of the DDK racers know anything about it ? Apparently it has been in storage for over 20 years , having lost it's oil cooler on it's last outing , resulting in a catastrophic engine failure  There are a few engine parts that ...

Re: Ripped off, what to do?
That resolves that then, it's Phil that's dodgy not you. And your other grotty eBay feedback? I guess that was dodgy buyers too. Seems legit. Hmmm - it doesn't read that way to me :? I have dealt with Ciaran many times , and he has always been fair and honest with me. He phoned me a couple of month...

2.2 MFI Engine
This was part of an uncompleted RS replica project that I bought recently , and I have no idea of the history  , but here's what I've got , and best guess story . 2.2S crankcase , which appears to have been rebuilt to the stage it is now - clean inside and signs of assembly lubricant. Turns fr...
