it's been a while, but iirc, it took me 2 nights to get EVERYTHING out of the rear, including the firewall, rear boot floor and all the engine shrouding sheetmetal

Hey James Yeah... the good old days 914club.com is pretty much dead, guess everyone is on world now Oh well... You mean the slots in the rear hood? I used a grinder, cause 9 out of 10 times I'm drilling too deep with a spotweld-bit :roll:

John, what type of muffler are you looking for? Typically, the Dansk mufflers are good quality I don't know what your budget is, but you could check out Triad (mild steel) or M&K (stainless) mufflers I've heard very good responces on both Headers are basically heat exchangers without heater boxe...

a friend of mine in the US recently tried to get one they kept stalling and finally they admitted they lost the tool for the porsche gearboxes (901/914/915) then they promissed to look into making a new tool and finally they bailed out completely... go to www.914club.com and do a search for phantom ...

the WEVO and the Rennshift are very nice units. Not cheap, but very well worth their money IMO

WEVO's gateshift is another nice addition to make your 915 shift better

they don't compare to the factory/weltmeister shortshift kit (which are not worth bothering, again IMO)
