Based on nothing but reputation and hearsay, as i've never had an engine built by anyone........ If i was in the market for a VW motor, either Type 1 or 4, i would be going to John Maher or more likely Laurie Petitt. Thanks, i'll take it please, I might be able to use it as a template to make a new one, then let you have it back. My dash has a cover fitted - which does seem really good, but there's nothing under it where the speaker should be. So i don't 'need' to fit one as there's no visible hole, but i would ...

Thanks, looking at the diagram for a 69 911s, the loom isn't the same but there are similarities. I think my blue/green wires are the same as the black/blue ones in the 911 diagram, which just seem to link all 5 gauges from one to the next. My white/green wire looks like it might be the main beam da...

Dash gauge wiring

Just been behind the dash fitting my replacement temperature gauge and found a couple of loose wires. Can anyone identify what they are and where they should go? There's a white/green wire around the middle of the gauges that has been cut, has no connector and is not connected to anything. Could it ...

Not in stock at the moment but he'll let me know when they arrive. Although its predominant...
