Great stuff Berny!
I know your efforts are much appreciated by East Anglian Air Ambulance.
Hopefully catch you on base when you pop in prior to setting off.

Re: rhd 73 targa
Makes sense really as the HK import tax is close to 100%, since an ex HK car may not need to pay this. You're correct. There was a fair bit of interest from Hong Kong for this reason. I was a little surprised! Good news for you but maybe rubbish for the car? Costs a fortune to have a car in HK so g...

Re: rhd 73 targa
Thanks for all the feedback, and interest.
The car sold at the weekend. It really is like saying goodbye to an old friend!
It's on it's way back to Hong Kong. Hopefully to be seen in Chartreuse soon!

Re: rhd 73 targa
In fact Chris one described to me working on a sporto gearbox that another London specialist had claimed to have fixed. Generally he didn't blame or point but he said the work was so bad he had to call to politely tell them they had no idea what they were doing. Neil, that would be this one. I won'...

Re: rhd 73 targa
Thanks for the pointers and feedback Richard, All pertinent stuff. The car may be able to be patched up with local repairs and paint, but I'm thinking it does warrant a strip, blast, paint and some new panels. I managed to get some pics today. As you can see, some of the trim in the rear of the car ...

Re: Off topic watch chat for the horologists out there
Any competent watchmaker should be able to service your chronograph. Be careful with case polishing. Most watchmakers still polish cases to within an inch of their lives to make them look new. Even top brand manufactures do this even if you specifically ask them not to. They use a machine that remo...

Re: Off topic watch chat for the horologists out there
Hi all, Just after recommendations with regard to having an IWC Pilot Chrono serviced. My watch has started losing a bit of time, and the case could do with a polish. Apart from going with IWC themselves, has anyone any feedback to share with other 'watch service providers', such as watch finder etc...
