RS Battery

Well the Bosch Silver 3F in my RS is showing signs of giving up.
I don't think Bosch make the 3F any longer.
So what is the general concensus on choice?
Its a LWT BTW so only 1 battery

I got done on a completely deserted stretch of dual carriageway on the A303 recently. The problem with these vans is that they don't take into consideration conditions / traffic levels / visibility...etc I got 3 points for 85mph on an empty, dry, well surfaced dual carriageway with excellent visibil...

Peter - I'm pretty sure the Smarts with periscope cameras are for monitoring dodgy / illegal parking around schools...etc
As long as you didn't park on the ZigZags at the kids school you should be OK!

I'm a big jaguar fan - have a very early E-type and a MkII in the garage, and love the XKR. But the Jonathon Palmer XKRs aren't exactly as they came off the dealer forecourt! Stripped out interior, lowered and stiffened suspension, uprated brakes...etc That said it is where my hypothetical 40k would...

Does the horn work? Hazards and horn share same fuse? (No 2)
Also ISTR there is a separate relay for the hazards behind the scuff plate by the pedals.

Clacking noise does sound strange. Assuming you've had the rocker covers off and checked all seems well there? Does the noise change with revs? The compression test certainly points to the rings rather than valves. Otherwise I had a mate who had a strange cluncking / clacking noise and found a few s...
