Re: Happy Birthday defianty

Happy Birthday Stephen!

Looking down the barrell of four-oh myself soon.

Need to get back in a Porsche before the mid-life crisis hits good and proper and I look like a sad old git!

10 years ago I was planning my wedding - September (the Saturday after 9-11) Sh1t, that means it's nearly 10 years since That Day. Anyway - I was driving an Alfa Spider - looked great, drove dull, went wrong a lot. And the future Mrs H drove a Polo G40. Now there's a car I'd buy back tomorrow... (PS...

Non-Porsche: 1962/3? split screen camper

First post for a while, been very busy...twins due end of May, house partially torn down & almost rebuilt. Still try to drop in when I get some time to myself. Anyway, this might appeal to those DDKers with VW roots: I'm reluctantly selling my 1963 (built Nov'62) LHD former EZ camper. Brought in...

The fan might look like a Carrera 3, but it's branded a 'turbo ranch cooler'.

Wanted that look so it didn't look like a beetle engine

I'll post up the full spec over the weekend, but there's a summary on the for sale post: http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25913

But how much for the 2.3 t4 engine?
Actually it's a type 1 flat four.

This is it in the car:

It was NOT cheap! But I know I won't get my money back on it.

Buy my 2.3 vw based flat four - 134bhp at the wheels.

Now left without a home since I sold the car & the (busted) original engine back into Italy.

That would give you enough 'pep' to keep you satisfied, even when you venture out with the 911 chaps.
