the bottom line is that you need to know quite accurately where you are going before you set off I much prefer to use maps. My dad swears by his TomTom, he's all over the UK in his truck. The office I work in is at the end of a no through road on a business park and there are about 10 trucks every ...

Old VW mags

I've got way too many old magazines cluttering up the place (quote from Mrs ECD  ) So they're all onto ebay, but I thought I'd offer them up here first, just in case. Here's a summary: Volksworld - up to Dec 2005, every issue apart from No.1 & No.3 Volksworld KYLA 1 - 4 Volksworld Classic V...

Sounds like it's all coming together. Today is the first day I've brought the 912 in to work for a while, all better thanks to PRS' leccy man rebuilding the starter. (thanks Paul) A12 rush hour is never better than in the sun with the targa roof off 8) We're about to put our 2.5 yr old into toilet t...

Far too many editions of Pimp My Ride watched over a weekend. On there it's all 'west coast this' & 'west coast that'.
I live on the east coast, and my name's David.

Ahh the SR-71 Blackbird. I grew up not too far from USAF Mildenhall & Lakenheath, and the Blackbird was a reasonably regular sight, but always astonishing. The vulcan was my mum's favourite plane (we were quite into air shows as a family) and I'll never forget the noise when at one event we were...

My 912 is running a 2.1 type 1 motor built by Raceshack in Tewkesbury. Cost-wise the total ran to about £7k including all ancillaries & fitting/testing, etc. That includes fancy fuel delivery (swirl tank thing) & EFI. I'm very pleased with it, and the service I got from the guys was second t...
