A good 2.2S is probably my favourite standard early 911 (narrowly beating a '69S) &, by the sound of it, you now have a very good one ...

That's a 2.7 911 (165bhp) engine built for the '76 model year.

The engine nos started at 6360001 so likely to have been manufactured in Aug or early Sep 1975.

Just go to the Shelsley Walsh homepage then click on the instagram icon & it'll take you to the video clip (which you'll be disappointed with as it only lasts a few seconds ...)

Yes - they were originally introduced with the SC models I think (maybe slightly earlier) but can be retro-fitted to any LWB model
