For historic rallying you need to demonstrate that these windows were fitted in period. You need a picture of Elford's car at the time

Steering Column play

I have excessive play in the steering column on a 72 911. There was a recent post on this forum on this problem with a quick fix using a plastic sleeve. I cant find this post, can anybody help.

Thanks for the previous comments. What is the optimun internal size for the oil pipes to a front oil cooler (Using aeroquip type pipe). I understand that the size is critical in order to avoid drop in oil pressure and also not to restrict oil flow.

Oil Cooler

I need to fit an extra cooler to a 1972 car. Oil tank is fitted in front of the rear wheel with the filter houseing in the engine bay. Can anybody advise how to plumb and fit with a thermostat.

spark plug removal

I use a conventional 3/8th plug socket taped to a small extension. Slacken off plugs, and then using a piece of rubber tubing, push over plug, then unscrew. Use the same method to replace.
Quite easy after some practise.
