Cheers David,

What parts would be needed. Could it be converted with doner bits from the side shifter it would be replacing?
How much dismantling required? Do you think it would be too daunting to tackle DIY?

What a lot of questons?!

As the title. Can this be done? Anybody done it? How involved?

I have a spare tail shifter 'box and wondering if worth keeping as future spare for my 2.0L.

Yes. here we all are. Oh and there is that stonking wide arch white one still in Ross Morrisons workshop.

Very pleased to here that you have decided to hold on to yours Steven. I promise mine will live again by next summer - may be a bit 'rat look'! and we can get some sort of get together.

On the rear - 1303 Beetle pads (front discs, obviously) do the job with the 'enlarge one hole' modification. Keeps it in the VAG family!

Hi Stephen. Yes, good to meet you.

Sounds like you need to have a dig around under there!

Had a good old tour around behind Mike (210bhp) and Brendan.

Looks likeI need some advice to get these images posting properly!

Apparantly entry is in excess of fifty at the moment and a broad range of machinery. I'll try and post up so...
