Hi Keith. I would prefer a real one, but they seem about as rare as hen's teeth, I've seen a few coupes around recently, but no speedsters, and even if I did find one within my £30K budget, I'm not sure I'd have the time, patience or money to do a proper restoration, also from what I've read they ar...

Thanks for everyone's feedback. As a result of what I've read so far I contacted Henry Reisner at Intermeccanica, he has directed my enquiry to his Euro agent Speedon, just waiting for them to get back to me. I'm now wondering just how difficult it will be to import a replica into the UK and what co...

993 gone, 356 next?
Hi new guy here, I've just sold my 993 Targa, I couldn't get on with the Tiptronic box, now I'm seriously considering buying a turnkey 356 Convertible D (Roadster) from Intermeccanica through their European agent Speedon, I would be very interested to hear your opinions.

Sprintstar67, thanks for your feedback. I would much prefer a real one, but they don't seem to come up for sale too often, and I don't think my £30k'ish budget would stretch anyway. Regarding yours, did you source it yourself? And did you have to do much in the way of restoration? What's it like to ...

How Authentic
Hi, new guy here, apologies in advance for what's probably a fairly banal question.... Just how authentic can the Chesil replica Speedsters be, given the current U.K. car safety legislation? Is it possible to achieve an acceptable level of authenticty without compromising the external look too much?...
