Interesting. My daughter and her partner have gone over to Canada to work, travel,work travel and have bought a 76 Westie T2 and are doing a rolling resto, plan is to bring it home when they do, may be easier to drive it to the US and fly home from there.

I had a VW 412 Est, loved it, needed to raise some extra cash as we had recently bought our first house. Put the 412 up for sale, sold it but the guy did not have the asking price, I needed a car, so took his 1.3 Austin Allegro, vomit colour in p/x, sad day.

Looks like part of the sun roof motor cover, there should be two sections, open the zip in the headliner and they clip ans screw in place.
