He paid a lot cos I bid it up a lot in the hope I would def get it in the dying seconds of the auction...

To add insult to injury I then immediately found another on ebay with a buy it now of 15 quid... :|

Has anyone experienced the rear shoes spinning freely forwards but locking up when moving backwards...?

Apparently a 912 trait.

Maybe, and I stress maybe I will replace my standard 1600 1968 912 engine with a VW 2276 204HPish engine... Your opinions valued... Purist and non-purist alike. The rest of the car will be restored as totally stock, but lowered just a smidge on steelies... In my mind, subtle... like an urban Cruise ...

Advice please... keeping headlights in place..!

I need help. ( in more ways than one! ) The problem I have is the headlight rims on my '12 are seemingly loose at the top and occasionally pop off despite the fact they are screwed in 'tight'which lets face it is not good... I have tried everything: moving the screwhole in the bowl a little bit this...

not the original though... and all 911s I have had (9) have been Guards Red, but this one will be restored to this colour. It's grown on me!

he took, and then it was almost immediately extended, so he made me

New addition to the family...

Finally done it... With the advent of the second sprog I have thrown away the 996 for a TT, a pope-mobile for the wife and a little extra in the shape of a 1968 912... It needs a bit of work, and while there is nothing overly wrong apart from showing her age a little, I already have a few naughty id...
